Metrunner runs like a guided tour, except that you join it by yourself with your phone.
Visit the checkpoints you see on the map. You can check out the introduction and score of that checkpoint. More content will be shown to you when you reach a checkpoint.
There are four modes by which Metrunner can detect your presence, see below.
Metrunner comes with interactive features such as:
Audio guide. Let Metrunner speak and introduce the checkpoint location to you.
Fitness data. Trace the distance you ran and the estimated calories you burnt.
Quiz. Challenge yourself with some knowledge of the place!
Compare your score with other metrunners. Your score can be used to redeem event entry at our partners (subject to actual offer).

Virtual with street view
The most basic mode in Metrunner is where the app automatically detects your GPS location, and automatically deliver relevant content when you're at a checkpoint.
Scan a QR code at the checkpoint to record your visit and receive the relevant content.
When you create a Metrunner tour, you can download a QR code from the editor, or better still, purchase a set of OLTags from us.
In this mode, each checkpoint placard has a letter which you must key into the app to check if it's the correct checkpoint. Popular for schools!
The virtual mode is a special kind of tour in Metrunner where you can explore content at home, without going to the actual location. In these fully virtual tours, you move around in the street view; content will be shown when your street view position matches a checkpoint.
